What happens next
- Your application will be assessed and if approved, verbal approval given, subject to property valuation.
- We will arrange a property valuation. At this stage you should not have exchanged contracts. If Lenders Mortgage Insurance is required, we will seek approval from the insurance company on your behalf.
- Once the valuation has been assessed, final approval is given in writing, together with your loan contracts.
- On receipt of the transfer from your solicitor, the mortgage documents will be prepared. In the case of refinancing, mortgage documents are sent out with loan contacts in step 3 above.
- When your solicitor provides all the necessary certificates to the Credit Union, arrangements will be made to settle your loan.
Please ensure you speak to your solicitor before you exchange any contracts.
