Sydney’s Favourite Teacher winner announced

We are excited to let you know that Sydney’s Favourite Teacher has been announced. Teachers Credit Union is a proud sponsor of this 2UE initiative.

With so many inspiring stories, the process of selecting just one winner was incredibly difficult. So we have decided, in conjunction with 2UE to reward a second incredible teacher with a $10,000 prize! We will also give $4,000 to the second teacher’s school and $1,000 to the person who nominated the second teacher.

So it gives us great pleasure to announce that the winning teachers are:

1. Maree Simpson from St Charles School, Ryde
2. Kylie Fabri from Miller Technology School, Liverpool

We are proud to be able to support the education community and 2UE in recognising and celebrating Sydney’s wonderful teachers. Our warmest congratulations to both winning teachers for this well-deserved honour, and to all the dedicated teachers who were nominated.
