Our staff are active in the community

Staff at Teachers Credit Union contribute to many charities through their fundraising efforts each year. Over 2008-09, our staff raised a total of $24,765 for their chosen charities including Stewart House, RSPCA and the Cancer Council.

11 staff have just participated in Movember, an annual, month-long celebration of the moustache, highlighting men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men. Our staff raised $3817.40 for the two associated charities – The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue – the national depression initiative, which is a fantastic effort.
