Celebrate World Teachers' Day

World Teachers' Day began in 1994 to commemorate the joint 1966 signing of the International Labour Organisation and United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Origination recommendation concerning the status of teachers. It encourages teachers' organisations worldwide to consider the needs of future generations. World Teachers' Day is now celebrated in over 100 countries and is dedicated to recognising "quality teachers for quality education".

It's an opportunity for all of us to recognise and thank teachers who inspire, encourage and nurture everyday.
