12th July 2010 - Important ALERT - Hoax telephone calls
We have discovered that hoax telephone calls are being made by fraudsters claiming to be Teachers Credit Union staff and offering fee refunds.
The caller will attempt to trap you into providing your personal account details, card number and PIN. Do not disclose your personal or account details over the phone unless you initiate the call.
Teachers Credit Union will never ask you to disclose your personal account details, card number or PIN. If you suspect the telephone call is a hoax, hang up and notify us immediately.
To protect your personal identity, add a password to your account. Contact us to find out more.

11th April 2008 - Important ALERT regarding hoax emails
We have detected that hoax emails are being circulated purporting to be from Teachers Credit Union.
These emails appear as being sent from Teachers Credit Union and try to trap you into providing your personal information or get you to download a virus onto your PC so they can capture your keystrokes when using internet banking.
If you suspect you have received a hoax email, do not open it. Delete the email immediately. Do not click on any links or attachments and under no circumstances enter any personal information including PINs or access codes.
If you receive such an email or have any concerns, contact us immediately on 13 12 21 8am to 7pm, weekdays or 9am to 9pm, Saturday.
