Microsoft has recommended that customers using Windows 98, Windows Millennium (Me), Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1), or Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), which have been superseded and could expose customers to security risks, should upgrade to a more secure operating system, such as Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) or Windows Vista as soon as possible.

Support for Windows 98, Windows Millennium (Me), Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Service Pack 1a (SP1a), including the availability of security updates, has ceased. Please refer to the following bulletins on Microsoft’s website for more details and advice on upgrading.
