When you shop online, register for free card protection service by Verified by Visa.

Verified by Visa is a free service that provides extra protection when you shop online at Verified by VISA merchants using your Teachers Credit Card or Visa debit card. It lets you use a personal password similar to a PIN at participating online retailers.

How it works

It's a free service and takes only a few minutes to register. You select a Personal Assurance Message (PAM) and a password when you register. Then, when you purchase online with a participating Verified by Visa merchants (over 80% of merchants who offer online purchases have indicated they will participate), you will be shown the PAM and asked to enter your password. It's that simple, just like using your PIN at an ATM.

A Verified by Visa member registration number is automatically issued with your new Visa debit card and Teachers Credit Card. You can also request a Visa member registration number by calling
13 12 21 8am to 7pm, weekdays or 9am to 3pm, Saturday.
