Telegraphic transfer
A telegraphic transfer (TT) is an electronic means of depositing funds directly into an overseas account.
It’s the quickest, most effective way to make an international payment or to move funds overseas. The funds will generally arrive in the payee's account within 3 working days.
Funds are wired directly into the nominated bank account overseas, which makes it perfect for those times when cleared funds are needed quickly.
Using the ‘Request for Telegraphic Transfer’ form, simply provide correct account information for the person you want to pay and the details of their account - and we will arrange the transfer.
Funds can either be in Australian dollars or in the currency of the destination country – your choice (note some restrictions may apply).
The countries we can telegraphic transfer funds to can change, so call 13 12 21 9am to 5pm, weekdays to ensure your destination country is available.
