Cash Passport

A Cash Passport is a pre-paid travel ATM money card from Travelex. Cash Passport enables you to obtain local currency up to the prepaid amount in over 170 countries (minimum value of AUD$250). It's safer than cash and travellers cheques because it's PIN protected.

Cash Passports are available in:

US dollars
Euros
New Zealand dollars
Australian dollars
Hong Kong dollars
Singapore dollars.

By taking your card in the most appropriate currency, you can lock in an exchange rate and easily keep track of your balance. Go to www.cashpassport.com.au to view your balance, print statements, change the card's PIN and locate the nearest ATM.

You can even reload your card each time you travel by using BPAY via internet and phone banking. (Use BPAY Biller code 50179 and enter your 16 digit Cash Passport number).

It's particularly ideal for use by school students and children under 18. You don’t even have to be a member to order (non-members need to complete a Document Certification Statement).

An additional card is issued at purchase to access the same pool of funds. Give to your travelling companions - or retain it for instant replacement cards in case yours is lost or stolen.

A small charge will apply for each withdrawal of cash. And any balance left on the card can be credited to your account by completing an encashment authority form (fee applies).
